It is a holistic approach to therapy that combines therapeutic approaches based on each client's needs. I often integrate therapies such as DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Somatic therapy, and CBT into my client's sessions.
I also work with my clients to consider their physical, emotional, and mental well-being as a whole and how they may all contribute to the presenting issue. This means that we will examine internal factors (health, nutrition, sensations, sleep, thoughts, emotions) as well as external factors (events, relationships, habits, and actions taken) to identify what factors are helpful and unhelpful to you feeling better in your body, relationships, and life.
I will provide psychoeducation on all examined aspects, such as but not limited to sleep and nutrition and their possible link to your current mental health symptoms.
